  1. A brief introduction to the Mooting and Debating Society
  2. The mission of the Mooting and Debating Society of the University of Peradeniya is to breed all-rounders who are equipped with all the necessary skills to lead a successful career in the field of law. During the brief history of the society which was established in 2017, its brilliant alumni have brought home many victories from local and international competitions. The Mooting and Debating Society strives to create a culture where undergraduates embrace both mooting and debating to build necessary skills to become a professional and a communicator. Mooting aims at giving the participants a simulation of a real life court room experience that facilitates them to become better legal practitioners in the future.
